After Piers After Piers

This project had 30 Push Piers installed around the perimeter of the home to stablize it. To do this portions of concrete had to be removed. Once the piers were installed our crew went around and filled the areas with dirt smoothed it, installed rebar, and patched the concrete.

PolyLevel® Concrete Lifting & Leveling

PolyLevel® is sometimes mistakenly referred to as slab jacking. This concrete leveling product is a two-part foam engineered to expand immediately upon injection beneath a settled slab. Injection holes are much smaller than those required for mud jacking. In action, PolyLevel® expands to many times its original volume, forcing the sunken concrete back to its original level. Within a matter of minutes, the expanded polymer hardens and reaches 90% or more of its final strength. This makes it possible for the restored surface to regain full functionality right away.

Concrete Leveling & Lifting Services we offer in Mountain View:

  • PolyLevel® Concrete Lifting and Leveling for settled slabs.
  • SealantPro concrete sealing
  • NexusPro cracked concrete repair
  • Slab jacking and mud jacking alternatives.
  • Pool repair and deck repair.
  • Concrete driveway leveling.
  • Concrete slab raising.

Enhance your concrete with SealantPro and NexusPro. For a seamless finish, use NexusPro to repair cracks in your concrete. It resists UV rays and harsh weather, so it will never crack or bubble and will always keep your driveway looking new. SealantPro uses breakthrough technology to bind to your concrete on the molecular level to protect it from staining, cracking, and damage.

Do you live in an area that's prone to earthquakes? Don't take chances with your property. At Foundation Repair of CA, we specialize in stabilizing homes and businesses throughout Northern California. Earthquake retrofitting, or seismic retrofitting, is the reinforcing of a house or building so that it is less likely to be damaged or separated from its foundation during an earthquake. With earthquake retrofitting in place, you're less likely to face significant damage when a natural disaster occurs.

If an earthquake event has already caused foundation issues we specialize in primary foundation damage repair of all types. Our expertise also includes concrete lifting and repair of slabs, driveways, patios, and pool decks.

Grind and level slab foundation approx 500 sf
Vicinity of Sierra Vista Ave in Mountain View
This is a 4-unit townhouse building, part of a 14-unit HOA. A recent seller's home inspection revealed some issues: - Units 1, 3, 4: Concrete perimeter foundatino stem walls and wood "mud sills" above stem walls ahve a number of holes for plumbing drains. (Not sure whether this is structurally significant) - Unit 2: crawlspace vertical pier assemplies "out of plumb / not fully bearing": 1 excessively offset pier post / block; 8 unloaded / marginally loaded wooden pier posts. - Unit 1: Foundation posts at a couple of locations are tilted - Unit 4: Foundation perimeter stem wall near crawl space access hatch is cracked, less than ⅛ inch wide. There are also water stains on the perimeter stem wall of units 3 and 4, fyi. We've gotten one quote for a portion of this job (Unit 2 was initially inspected, and the seller got a repair quote, then the HOA Board had the other units inspected by the same inspector and found the additional issues.) We are not sure whether we need to have a structural engineer review the foundation or not.
