Objective
To lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve individual and company goals while ensuring homeowners receive outstanding service and lasting solutions.
Position Summary
The Sales Manager oversees all aspects of the sales department, including leadership, training, performance management, and strategic planning. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, teaching established sales processes, and ensuring alignment with company goals and the sales model. The Sales Manager exercises discretion and independent judgment in decisions that impact the company’s sales operations. Top performing Sales Managers that drive their sales team can earn $140K or more annually while helping provide guidance and coaching to their team members.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and grow the sales team to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct regular ride-alongs with sales representatives to evaluate performance and provide coaching.
  • Plan and conduct weekly sales meetings focusing on product knowledge, sales strategies, and professional growth.
  • Develop and implement new hire training programs and ongoing education for existing staff.
  • Utilize existing training materials and systems to reinforce company sales methodology.
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews and create performance improvement plans where needed.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of sales results, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve cross-functional efficiency and customer experience.
  • Promote company values, culture, and purpose while fostering a positive and motivated sales environment.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for sales representatives regarding pre-sale processes and workflow questions.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven experience in sales management, preferably in home improvement, construction, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and developing a sales team.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategy, CRM systems, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve sales performance.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.

About the Role

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will meet with homeowners through pre-scheduled appointments. Your goal is to uncover the customer’s needs, diagnose foundation or concrete issues, recommend the best repair solutions, and guide them toward making confident, informed buying decisions.

Top performers in our industry can earn $200K or more annually while helping provide permanent, creative repair solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience in residential real estate, home inspection, construction, concrete, or home improvement industries (preferred but not required)
  • 2+ years of in-home sales experience (preferred but not required)
  • Strong listening, closing, follow-up, and self-marketing skills
  • Ability to walk, kneel, and crawl in confined spaces
  • Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to obtain a CSLB Home Improvement Salesperson card (background check required)
  • Reliable personal vehicle for sales appointments
  • Proficiency using tablet-based software (training provided)
  • Comfort and confidence working on a 100% commission-based pay structure
