When the house was built, this floor post was installed poorly, causing it to tilt like losing a game of tug-of-war.

Our solution: The wood post was still in good shape so it didn't need to be replaced. We re-centered the post so it was entirely on the footing beneath it, and then we retrofitted it with a T-Bracket to give it more stability and to keep it from tilting like before.
