PolyLevel® Concrete Lifting & Leveling
PolyLevel® is sometimes mistakenly referred to as slab jacking. This concrete leveling product is a two-part foam engineered to expand immediately upon injection beneath a settled slab. Injection holes are much smaller than those required for mud jacking. In action, PolyLevel® expands to many times its original volume, forcing the sunken concrete back to its original level. Within a matter of minutes, the expanded polymer hardens and reaches 90% or more of its final strength. This makes it possible for the restored surface to regain full functionality right away.

Mr. M was concerned about standing water in his crawlspace. Whenever it rained, his crawlspace would flood, but the water would never drain properly. Knowing that standing water could cause problems such as mold, rot, and weakening of the floor framing and foundation, Mr. M called us out to come up with a solution.
To protect the floor framing and the foundation, we installed a 20 mil. vapor barrier known as the "CleanSpace Liner." The CleanSpace Liner covered the concrete foundation and the concrete footings of the floor framing like a raincoat. We also installed a "SmartSump" sump pump to collect water and divert it back to where it belonged, outside.
Now Mr. M can rest assured that the standing water he used to deal with will now loiter elsewhere.
Mrs. M was worried about her uneven floors and the cracks that were forming on her walls. She called us out to do an inspection and to provide a possible solution. We discovered that her floor was indeed uneven. The worst areas had sunk close to an inch below the rest of the floor. Built in 1948, the cause was more than likely to be that the soil beneath her home had shifted over time, causing the floor supports beneath her home to fall out of alignment; her home was literally letting her down.
Our solution was to install our SmartJack Adjustable Steel Post System to aid the existing floor support system. The existing wood posts and concrete footings were okay enough to leave there so what we did was we installed 9 SmartJack Posts near the weakened posts. We then adjusted the new SmartJacks to lift the floor. The great thing about the SmartJack is that it is adjustable. The soils beneath Mrs. M's home may continue to shift, but the SmartJack is engineered to be adjusted to counter the shift.
Now, with the root of Mrs. M's floor problems discovered and solved, she can walk through her home with peace of mind.
